OPERATIONAL STABILITY
BORBET quality: Our wheels undergo rigorous testing and long-term testing to fulfil the highest demands. The tests include frequency analysis, bending circulation tests, impact tests and driving simulations (ZWARP and/or radial rolling test) to ensure that our wheels meet the highest quality standards.

MATERIALS TESTING (MATERIALS TECHNOLOGY)
In our materials testing laboratory, we determine the mechanical properties of our wheels to ensure the highest quality. To this end, we carry out hardness tests and tensile tests to determine material-specific parameters such as tensile strength, yield strength, elongation and hardness of the material. In addition, we qualitatively check the microstructure of ground samples using microscopy and measure the chemical composition using spectral analysis. This makes it possible to continuously monitor a wide range of customer specifications during ongoing production.
SURFACE LABORATORY
We set standards for the quality of our light alloy wheels in our in-house surface testing laboratory. The state-of-the-art equipment and the expertise of our employees work together perfectly to ensure long-term quality. Our specialists carry out extensive chemical and physical tests on initial samples and for series production control. Particularly important are the versatile corrosion tests, with which the paintwork is tested for resistance to environmental influences such as road salt or moisture.
