Report misbehaviour

In order to protect BORBET and its employees, suppliers and business partners, misconduct must be recognised at an early stage, dealt with and remedied immediately. This requires everyone's attention and your willingness to point out possible breaches of the rules if there are concrete indications.

What can be reported?

Any suspicion or evidence of illegal activity should be reported.
Here are some examples:
•   theft, bribery and monetary benefits
•   fraud, embezzlement
•   conflicts of interest
•   insider trading
•   corruption
•   antitrust matters (violation of antitrust and/or competition law)
•   money laundering
•   manipulation in the context of accounting
•   environmental protection
•   health, safety at work and operational safety
•   offences against data protection
•   violations against human rights
•   violations of general personal rights (harassment, discrimination, etc.)

The more extensive and detailed your report is, the better it can be investigated.

How is a notification made?

A report by the whistleblower is made
- via the mailbox Compliance@borbet.de
- via the message field on the homepage under the "Company" tab

What happens after we receive your information?

Any information you provide to the hotline will be received by Corporate Compliance and will be investigated accordingly. In order to significantly support our work, we ask you to provide us with one of your contact details (telephone number or e-mail), which we can use to contact you if we have any queries about the infringements you have observed. We take all reports seriously and guarantee that they will be processed confidentially to the extent permitted by law.

Information received via email, website, telephone or direct conversation with superiors is forwarded to the Compliance Officer by the respective local Compliance Manager and confirmed within 7 working days and processed within 3 months, including questioning and research as well as feedback to the whistleblower. Reports received by the ombudsman are processed within 3 months. The anonymity of the whistleblower and protection against reprisals and retaliation is guaranteed. Only the compliance officers have access to the information.
